With the use of beacons, the solution captures the app users’ movement within the retail space. Overlaying customer routes, a heat map is generated by the system. The heat map visualizes which area customers spend most time and which items or aisle is most popular.
Contextual advertising and push-notification creating
The beacons in the retail space and the mobile app accurately determines the customer location and sends out ads about item discounts when the customer is located next to a particular aisle or store section.
Loyalty system gamification
The application assigns geolocation-based objectives for customers. For example, to visit a specific department or to search for a particular aisle. Beacons track the app users’ movement and bonuses are awarded for completed objectives.

Information about the customer movements within the retail space is available for the store administrators.
